  • Villard St. Pub last night

They showed video footage of the 1968 US trials at Lake Tahoe and the Olys. As well as clips from the 1967 US-Commonwealth meet at the LA Colosseum. The 1968 footage was both network and home movies by Tom Farrell's wife. Very interesting especially the runners coming around the turn out of the wood.

They asked some trivia questions too, gave away some Accusplit watches. (I'm persona non grata amongst my friends as I DQed our table from participating)

Best question of the night (not one that was part of the public trivia): who was UCLA's first 7-footer? That was posed to me by a guy who thought he was, but Mr. Trig came up with a superior answer.
