How fast for Powell? Is he back to near his best following his ankle problems?

I did not think Powell won that. but thankfully he did 'cos he's my captain on the fantasy league.

He had a terrible start and barely won.

I know - I was convinced Bailey sneaked it on the line!

10.07 -0.3 wind. Not convincing really and a terrible start wasn't it?

I thought that was a good run by Williamson as he was in contention all the way to the last 10m.

For a moment I thought Bailey had outdipped Powell

Williamson 10.13 (-0.3 m/s) in fourth. Another good run.

A MAJOR break-throgh for Asafa - he ran through the line!!

Asafa didn't look himself at all. I don't know if it is the injury or what but he did not get out well and even though he came back and won he definitely did not have his top-form knee lift and frankly it didn't appear that he was running very hard.

Whatever this new thing he is doing, it had better be in preparation for the WC

Is that a 1-2 for the Donovans?!

Powell better get it together soon. He doesn't look like he is ready to challenge Bolt and Gay. In fact, he looks like he belongs in the second-tier of sprinters.

In more detail, Donovan Powell 10.07, Donovan Bailey 10.07, Lindel Frater 10.08 :-)

Well if he's in the 2nd tier as you say he's there all by himself.

He ran all the way through and very relaxed after a HORRIBLE start. In most spots before, Asafa would've just given up.

I applaud him and I'm not counting him out yet.
