Katja Demut won the TJ with 14.20 which should be a national best for at least a decade, knocking the A qualifier and thus allowing junior Kristin Gierisch (14.02, born 1990) the journey to Berlin, too.
Nwachukwu ran 51.54 in the 400m, a national best since Grit Breuer in 2002, while Thomas Goller, Sydney 2000 semifinalist ran 49.37 over 400mH.

And both of those times were run in the semifinals, there might still be some room for improvement too.

Too bad he missed the A standard by 1 cm, the monkey is not off the back just yet.

Coach says he is finally healthy again and improved his speed compared to the European Indoors in Torino.

As a Primary Nay-Sayer, I am indeed shocked. I suspect 'short pit' !

It's a positively amazing NC in the sprints.
Verena Sailer just won in 11.18 (-0.2) PB, Tobias Unger in 10.18 (-2.5). Mattthias Bühler won 110mH with 13.36 (0.7) PB ahead of Helge Schwarzer 13.39 PB, while Carolin Nytra won with 12.78 PB (-0.1) ahead of Stephanie Lichtl 13.03 PB.
Heidler won with 74.25 ahead of Klaas 72.76.

Edit: Friedrich just jumped 2.01, Kröger 1.93 PB.

The purpose/goal of any nay sayer is to never shut up, though they are known to move on to other subjects.
