Faulk leads over 7th hurdle and then Robles catched him to win in 13,18. Thoose two far ahead of the others. Wind -1,3.

Seemed like Robles didn't realize Faulk were leading on his 8th lane and just cruised on his way to what he thought was an easy win.

Faulk is all over the place running hurdles, if he gets under control, he will be VERY dangerous.

Robles and Faulk with outstanding times considering the wet track and temperature.

Actually, Faulk looked pretty controlled. Payne, on the other hand...

If Faulk tightens up his technique he could prove to be very dangerous.

agreed on Faulk. this was an excellent run from him. great race in terrible conditions.

the fact that Robles ran 13.18 into a headwind in cold, rainy conditions and looked relaxed doing it is pretty mind blowing.

if Faulk can continue to clean up his technique (e.g., his trail leg is quick and compact, but he needs to bring it all the way through the rotation so it's completely back in front of him), the guy is looking extremely dangerous.

Payne, I think, set some kind of record for smashing the living hell out of the 10th hurdle and managing to stay on his feet.

Several of the hurdlers just got off the plane.

coming off hurdles 8 and 9 Faulk almost went out of his lane clearing both hurdles. The kid is mega talented, just has to have more control, especially if he wants to consistently be at a level to compete with Robles (which I think he is capable of).

yes, I could see that a lot of the Americans just looked out of sorts.

you could see jet-lag written all over their faces.

one simply can't anywhere near a normal performance when one's body is all out of sync and fatigued like that.

Can't help but keep repeating myself, is there any other thing in life Robles could have done any better than hurdling? He shaves the draft off the hurdles man!! Like a dance.

Robles' technique is on an entirely different level.

only a few come anywhere close to what Robles does technically:

                          - Jack Pierce
                          - Liu Chiang
                          - Tony Campbell

Not sure who else is that extraordinary on techique in the 110s.

Trammel, very good. Allen Johnson great.
