Look folks, there are 8 lanes and 9 at some given venues. Anyone can be beaten, some at a highly less rate than otehrs, but again, they too can be beaten.

      FYI,

Bolt himself said it wasn't cold, just rainy.
No point trying to make the conditions sound better than they was, you just have to see how everyone else performed in that 200m race. The winning margin shocked me more than the time.

So no matter what, Gay will never beat Bolt ever again??? And quote me right next time before you make yourself look foolish.
You can SAY you think Bernard Lagat will run a 9.6x in the 100m this summer. You have the right to SAY whatever you want. But if you said something like that, I would obviously let you know why I felt it was illogical. Similarily, if you SAY you think a healthy Gay can possibly beat a healthy Bolt this season, I will point out that this is illogical as well, just as if you had said Bernard Lagat might run a 9.6x 100m I would have said that is illogical too. Any time I see an illogical opinion I point it out. That's the whole point of a message board. To look at other people's opinions and debate with them when they say weird stuff that you disagree with. If everyone just agreed and said "Ya uh huh" to everything then it would be boring as hell.

And for the second part, I never said "Gay will never beat Bolt ever again."

I said "A healthy Gay has no chance of beating a healthy Bolt THIS SEASON. Who the hell knows what will happen in future seasons. Bolt could retire for all we know, or Gay, no way to know that kind of stuff. But THIS SEASON anyone who knows track and field, and isn't super duper biased KNOWS that a healthy Gay CANNOT beat a healthy Bolt. He can't. He's not fast enough. Plain and simple. It's pretty obvious, and those denying it are only doing it because they like the fact that Gay seems like a very nice humble guy, and is a citizen of the same country that they are from. That still doesn't make it any more logical to say he can beat a healthy Bolt THIS SEASON though...
lol why is it hard for you to see that a healthy gay CAN beat a healthy bolt lol,

didnt you see stockholm last year with bolt powell

I mean, seeing that Bolt can't be beating this year no matter what anyone does right????

I didn't make anything sound better, did you READ what I posted...I'll repeat it for you... "BOLT stated it wasn't that cold, just rainy..."

            Not from my mouth...HIS!

Which is why I think he performed so well. He stated he wasn't bothered by much. Again, that's from the athlete, not me.

I'll take the word of the athlete who made the comment.

Think of them as cars. The Bolt Mobile is faster than the Gay sedan, but the Bolt car must be maintained and driven well to win the big race.

I feel ya, bro. Gay COULD beat Bolt in a one-off, but Bolt is the OVERWHELMING fave in ANY race.

I think it's fair to say...the Journalists were thinking the same thing also.

I really think Gay is starting to sound like Dwain Chambers. He mentioned in an interview on NBC while at US Trials, that he can run 9.5  if that what it will takes to beat Bolt in Berlin. He is clearly talking out of his mind and trying to make his mind prepare, but that is absurd when I heard him said that. Maybe playing the video game 'Chasing Bolt', he did that, but I will EAT 10 freaking FROGS and signed over the title to my car to a stranger if that happen in my life time!!

Asafa needs to get his darn head together and focus on saving face in this World Championships really. Needs to focus and running a proper race in a Major Final.. start by aiming for atleast a sub 9.90 and getting a Silver medal, which I think will do him a lot in the confidence department moving forward to future Major Championships.

A lot of sprinters are delusional with regards to their own abilities. Ato Boldon springs to mind.

Journalist thinking this and the athletes thinking and/or stating this, not the same thing. Again you can acknowledge the prowess of another athlete, but to suggest they stay on your mind, don't think so.

This a real bman analysis.
With all the wind, rain and cold, altitude was more than equated for. Why is it only now that altitude has been brought in to analyse a result in Lasaunne. Why didn't you ever mention it when Carter's 200m prowess was always being hailed?
