as i said on another thread they should have let defar run in the mens race yesterday in which 2nd pace was 29:22 and 11th place was 30:07, in a race like that always having people to run with she probably would have run faster than she did today and who knows maybe even break or at least scare the once thought of 29:31 world record.

But results from mixed-sex races are ineligible for record recognition.

meseret defar running as a guest in the great britain trials ran a 29:59 for 10k on the track, aheza kiros was second in 31:21, lineth chepkurui was 3rd in 31:31.
