In the wider sense of assesing how the nations did, in no way can you compare a medal in the medley relay to an individual medal, it just don't really mean alot. Taking those 2 golds away, Kenya finished with equal amount of medals to the US but with 2 more golds.

          Sensible Jamaican fans aren't worried.
We had two potential medallists sitting at home because they were TOO YOUNG.
          J. Murphy born 27/02/1994 PB 10.41 20.97
          Chris-Ann Gordon born 18/09/1994 PB 52.68
and a few more in that year group with slightly less impressive stats
Had more than a fair share of injuries and misfortune.
Dowie the G400mh silver medallist has never before beaten Tracey the 8th placer, and wasn't going to beat her this trip until Tracey fell while leading at the last hurdle.
We cool. We had a discus bronze medallist, imagine that!!
The sprint factory is still churning them out.
Barring unforseen circumstances Murphy and Gordon should star MAJORLY at the next WYC
why don't people pronounce vowels anymore
