    Looking at the times in the 5000, isn't this the sort of race Galen Rupp should be running in? Are the American distance team members all training at altitude until they get to Berlin?

    From what I can ascertain, (and, gulp, there is always the possibility that I am wrong), the only person who has run faster than Bernard Lagat's 3:32.56 at age 34 is William Tanui, who is credited with a 3:32.02 at age 34 and a 3:32.45 at age 35.

    I also saw that--since it appears that picture was taken at a March press conference, you would have thought somebody involved with the meet would have taken it out after the news about Ramzi surfaced. I'm sure Lagat wouldn't mind(he's standing next to Ramzi in the picture)
