Before his race with powell in laussane, rodgers had passport issues and after flying to europe, had to fly back to the US and then back again to europe... definitely not good

i was wondering what happened to him in the 100m...even on a bad day 8th and 10.40 for Crawford is eye opening, then again he could be saving energy for the 200m

Prolley saving energy, I think at this stage of the season and maybe even Shawn's career, his focus might be the 200m.

                        C'mon dude!
You know he's faster than that.
Obviously something went wrong or he shut down.

Like I told these jokers earlier scratch...

Crawford is KNOWN for not overdoing it in Europe before a major.

                          Check his record.

In fact, he has publicly stated his strategy that opposes that mindset. He's running to stay fit and avoid injury...that is all

No one should be surprised if Crawford is on the medal stand for the deuce in Beijing.

It's happened in the last two Olympic Games and it will probably happen in this WC. 8-)

And to the point he would make a solid addition to the 4x1. Folks shouldnt get too caught up in these times they're seeing.

Not all of them mean very much.

pretty big statement, if Bolt and Gay stay injury free they're pretty much nailed down for 1st n 2nd.

I don't think his 3rd place is secure at all. I think a young Azerbaijanian can cause an upset. Along with Spearmon, Martina and others i think the race for 3rd will be a blanket finish between about another 3 runners.

I don't think Crawford is a lock for a medal by any means, Mike.

But the point is that he goes through the motions, tweaks things and works on form before majors and then shows up big.

He's even sort of done it before trials...check his pattern.

The rounds gear him up and he shows big when it counts.

My point is that he's being overlooked...yet again.

But he's definitely a threat to medal.
