        It may indicate he was conserving energy and may not be as fit as he/they want at this point. But then again may have been one of those days, he didn't wake up feeling fast.

          When was JW ever this unfit? After every other off season he has run just fine and his endurence was not questionable? Why now?

            Someone alluded to the fact that getting back with Hart, JW wasn't able to get the amount and/or type of base work in, that very well may be part of it.

              why did'nt Gillick get a lane in this race? he would have pushed Wariner all the way to the line...he will be in the shake up at the Worlds
