how long does it take to recover from a strained calf? what kind of cross training can i do? i strained my soleus (sp?) muscle a week ago and it's still tight. i'm doing all the icing, massage, stretching, ibuprofen possible. it only hurts when i tried to run after 5 days off. it is really tight. do you think deep water running or swimming aggravates it even though it doesn't hurt while doing it?
