  • Bolt has already won the worlds

Gay is all siked out about what time he has to run to win the worlds, but he is really just worried about Bolt. Mentally these sprinters dont think they can beat Bolt.

I don't agree that Gay is psyched out.

He seems confident and he seems to be executing his training and competiion plans for 2009 supremely well.

Hard to argue with 9.77 and 19.58 WLs.

Figuring out how to beat someone like Bolt must seem impossible, at times.

Bolt is the clear favorite in Berlin in the 100 and 200. No doubt.

That said, however, I truly believe that Gay could suprise - and that Gay will make things very interesting.

I almost think that Gay might have a better shot in the 200. Gay is a better turn runner than Bolt. If he can apply some pressure to Bolt coming off the turn, he's got a chance of holding on.

Isn't clairvoyance a marvelous gift? While you're at it, can ya give me a quick read on the 5th race at Santa Anita tomorrow. I got a coupla C-notes that could really use some company. T'anx!

P.S. How does one think withOUT doing it mentally? Just wondering.

              Atkins 10.00 (3.0) in Zarragosa.

he must have been injured for a while.

still, 10.00 for what is apparently first race back, even with 3.0w, is good.

You know what's comical about this thread and really much of the Bolt hype, folks act like Bolt is the first athlete that others are in awe of, or make any preparations for

What were the rest of the results, n all the other events?

Hmmm... willjr has established that he know better than anyone about distance events because he can beat anyone else who posts here at 5K or more due to his great skill as a racer at those distances and the expertise that produces. And anyone who challenges him is unqualified because he can outrun them.

Now he has ventured into the sprints, and mind reading as well. What are willjr's credentials for these endeavors? Clearly Marlow has no bono fides to pose that question because Marlow is merely a coach. Me, I'm just asking. I know I have no right to challenge until willjr begins to opine about the jumps.
