A quick check at Pela's, puts her at 15 out of 20 in
the _current_ heptathlon list, with the top-12 all for her
self. (Fredricks and Fountain share the other five.)

Considering the number of competitions possible per year,
    this even more impressive.

As of the end of '95 JJK was 21/21 in the LJ (and maybe more). Ritter was 20/26 in the HJ.

I'm guessing that back when this decade started Dragila was close to an 18/20.

Also notable of late is her passing Koch on the alltime sub 50 list at the young age of 24.

When she was 18 I said that she'd be the best ever.

    For all of her haters...

The day of reckoning is coming.

Hit 'em in the throat, Sanya.

Sanya Richards Dominance of US All-Time 400 List

If I am doing the math correctly Sanya Richards now owns 16 of the 20 fastest 400 meter times ever by someone competing for the good old USA. I recall seeing Edwin Moses at 20 of 20 in the 1985 list. I wonder if any women (in the past 30 years or so) have ever done better than 16 of 20. I suppose this could go in the History section but it also seems like current events as well.
Working...
