So she only came to Europe for 1 race?

I was expecting at least 4 or 5.

What a tough standard. Of the 19 women who have managed it this season, 4 of them won't be in Berlin (Jamal, England, Andrianova, Willard). Leaving just 15 women with the standard from this year, 3 Russians, 2 Ukranians, 2 Brits (a third did it indoors).

Given the constant roulette of 3 heat semi finals that Iwe've had to endure in recent champs, one would hope that the limited number of athletes resulting from the high A standard would at least pave the way for a fairer 2 heat semi final?

Wow and still not enough to make the team outright...but that's a GREAT effort by both women!

Next yrs' 800m race will be yet another battle on the NCAA scene!
