    Maybe not. gm posted a link to the timing company's site for the meet. Those sites are usually independent of the meet organization's site and sometimes provide faster results. (Sometimes, however, they do results only at the end of each session. I guess we'll find out on Friday.)

    Since the meet has not started I wouldn't freak out on results quite yet.
    They have a link for results so we can only hope they use it.
    Brazil put up lresults LIVE. Can we expect the same this time?

    Thanks very much pachip. I will try and find her PB. From what I have seen my girl has a decent shot at making the finals which is her goal.

    Some results for Junior South American Championships:

    men's 100m: Wind (+0.4) -cold wheater, and little rain-

    1-Erik Sigaki Martins (BRA) 10.45
    2-Diego Farias Cavalcanti (BRA) 10.46
    3-Isidro Montoya (COL) 10.63

    Diego Cavalcanti is a 1st junior year....some days ago, he ran 10.14 with tailwind...next year he might run legal 10.1x

    Men's LJ:

    1-Jhamal Bowen (PAN) 7.78 (-0.5)
    2-Lourival Neto (BRA) 7.58 (+0.9)
    3-Whilliam Barrionuevo (BRA) 7.45 (0.9)
    4-Emiliano Lasa (URU) 7.42 (-1.2)

    Other winners: Brazilian 17 years old Diego Estefani won 400m in 46.20, Arg Florencia Borelli (16 y.o) won steeplechase in 10'50''...
