When was the last time a Russian ran as fast or better than 49.29? Not counting non-Russians representing the old USSR.

I think it was Olga Nazarova in 1988 when she ran 49.11

This puts Krivoshapka 2nd on the Russian all time list

It's not Omorova...but some other Russian woman (I think Anna is her first name) whom I've never heard of or seen before has just thrown the shot over 20 metres! 20.07 to be precise.

Has anyone got a link to live results? The links previously posted in this thread contain some results, but they're often incomplete and/or not live.

Not that I question your decision - that post was clearly in breach of the rules. But I see unfair treatment here - why does everyone get away with saying the same thing about Krivoshapka as Scoe said about VBH???
You are 100% correct.... I hadn't been on this thread at all, only came on to do the split, and noticed the scoe violation.

He and Matt and Stephen can now enjoy a tripartite vacation.

                  And others should take heed.

                    4th was 50.56 (I'm guessing it's Nazarova)
                    5th 50. 93 (Firova? )
                    6th51.01 and it's definitely Antyukh
                    7th 51.12
                    8th 51 62 Really can't decipher either name.

6'78 for Kurchenko in the LJ.
                      6'92 for someone I don't recognise. :? Sorry. Brown ponytail, early 20's.

Yikes. Makes discussing the JA situation feel like we are all on thin thin ice.

How long is a vacation anyway?

The other two finalists (after Krivoshapka, Kapachinskaya, Litvinova, Nazarova, Firova, and Antyukh) were Darya Safonova and Yuliya Gushchina.

I concur. I still think the board rules are used selectively.
