Very slow race. Debbie Ferguson McKenzie owned the field in the last 80m. But the winning time was over 23 seconds. Had a tailwind too.

Stiff headwind judging from the 100.

Good run by Debbie...one of my favorite athletes and an incredible person.

Not bad for Hooker in her first race in Europe for the season. Interested to see how she runs on the 4x1.

        What's the temp there?

Hooker needs to learn to run curves more effectively IMO

1st race in Europe for her but in general I agree.

That being said, look at the final from the US Championships. She was right behind Muna (who led) coming off the curve into the final 100.

She is definitely improving, last year I hoped for her sake that she got an outside lane every time she ran because she was such a bad curve runner/starter on a whole.

I notice this with the "taller" women more than the men but it seems the inside lanes/tighter curves make running the curve tougher on them than the "smaller" women. The outside lanes don't seem to be as taxing.

And to that I say one name.... Usain Bolt.... He proved to me that a tall guy CAN run a really good curve even from one of the more inner lanes. Even Sherone and Kerron seem to run relatively good curves. I definitely think that Hooker can improve. If only she could learn from VCB and Gay's coach. I think he trains the downright best curve runners in the world.

Not being rude, and i think as a British viewer its the first time i have seen her race on Tv, but she is looking slightly larger than i expected, considering the times she has race this year...
