The announcer just stated that Tyson says he has a slight injury after the race.

Apparently Gay said afterwards: "I've got to see the Physio, I've got a slight injury." Same groin strain we've heard about or something different?

As much as I'm a Bolt fan I want a fit Tyson there.

I agree wholeheartedly. But let me ask this: is Usain Bolt forcing Gay to push his body to breaking point.? We saw this last year after Bolt broke the world record in New York and now again we see Gay's body breaking down under the pressure.

            Pressure???

Maybe from training too hard for himself, but certainly not any pressure from anyone but himself.

                ok, no wonder.

folks, Gay was in cruise control in that race on a slightly cool day, on a slowish track.

man, I hope this is nothing more than a niggle.

best wishes to Tyson and hope it's nothing serious.

he's totally fit. he looks awesome this year. so, a few days of physio and rest won't hurt one bit.

The pressure might imposed by Gay on himself but it might also be from the fact that Bolt has raised the bar and now he has to push himself harder in order to get to the point where he feels he can challenge and beat Usain.

                    oh, no.

                    "hasn't trained in two weeks".

hoping Tyson can recover fast and fully.

I'm starting to think the decision to run here wasnt the best thing in hindsight for him........considering he hasn't trained in two weeks and he has had an annoying groin problem.

I disagree. He had to start running at some point. He obviously did not run all out. And he undoubtedly picked up a very nice appearance fee. I think he knew what he was doing.
