How about not using the same old relay coach(es), and not putting runners with 2 previous baton mishaps onto future relay teams?

Unfortunetaly, regardless of the personnel on the 4 X100, if they don't get enough repetitions with the exchanges; the U.S. won't make it threw the rounds in Berlin.

What do you consider enough repetitions?

A national relay team needs continuity and consistant practice , similar to a college team. Sure the logistics of getting the nations fastest runners together often enough would be a challenge, but it would take that kind of commitment to get back on track. The Dream team and the Redeem team come to mind as possible parallels.
