i meant if he was looking for a scholarship last year, before he turned professional.

Since he's competed in three Golden League meets already this year, there's a pretty good chance that he has an agent and that he's received prize money. He might still get an academic scholarship somewhere, but if he's a pro, no college coach will be able to touch him. (And if he is a pro, by the way, it's probably not a secret.)

    started a topic william biwott???

    william biwott???

on page 36 of the september track and field news that just came out, there is a little article on new mile junior world record holder william biwott who has run 3:49 for the mile and 3:32 for the 1500, it said he wanted a scholarship to an american university, but he did not get one, why not?

    1. he ran a 3:42 for 1500altitude last year.
    2. he said he had good grades especially in physics.
    3. he is the right age for a freshman 18-19, as he is still a junior.
    4. kenyans for the most part speak engish as kenya was a british colony at one time.

what college coach wouldnt want him on their team?
