I kinda agree with nevs. Their rivalry really isn't that great (Although it should be).

They hardly race and when they do seldom are they both in great form or the pace is so ridiculously slow that it just comes down to a last 100m sprint.

It's been this way for a while in the w5000m. Anyone of Berhane, Gabi, Gete, Paula (The fastest of the lot???) etc should have held the WR at some time but put them in a race together and they refused to race.

i love all events (ok ome more than others) but i think it's brilliant that our sport has something for everyone from baby face to valerie, usain or kenny.

i don't understand only liking sprints or middle distance it's just lazy i get much more excited by paula in the marathon then whoever wins the m1500 !!

Sorry Mark, when i type Track, i mean all of track. In my 56 year i have never ejnoyed watching the HJ more. Yes. Vlasic is part of it but theres more. Yes, the drunken Ruskie HJer is part but it's not too late to teach an old track fan some new tricks.

those 2 are amazing they can probably be the best in the world in anything from the 1500 to the marathon and everyhing in beween, i think they could even be medal contenders in the 800.
last year dibaba won the 5 and 10k so its defars turn, i pick defar to win the 5 and 10k double worlds.
