        cmon jeremyp, that was cold
I was thinking that defar would have khb this year.
I prefer defar but will not be as pleased if she wins without bfd in the field
why don't people pronounce vowels anymore

I hope she will be ok to run. The race with her and the Kenyan girl would be interesting. Race will be wide open. Kenyan could beat out her sisters for the Gold.

Dibaba has clearly been off this year. Though she ran fast at Crystal Palace, she looked rough doing so.
I think Defar would've had her number anyway.

We shall see...The odds were put at 50-50 that she will compete. One might be reticent to bet against a 23-year old who has 4 world championship gold medals and 2 olympic gold medals, in addition to 5 gold medals in world cross country.

If somebody said Kenenisa Bekele's chances of competing were 50-50, I'd assume he was competing.

Trouble is this is not first injury of year. Unless she's 100% she can't beat Defar.

her MRI came back negative which is a good sign, but ethiopian officials will wait until thursday to decide if she is able to run saturdays 10k.
