When I was reading the mens medalcharts I noticed that K.Bekele was not placed on the podium In the 5000m race.Have I missed anything , Isn´t he racing ? Or have the panel missed that he´s racing ? or Is it actually that the panel don´t think he will medal ?

The T&FN preview for the 5K says, roughly, "if Bekele unexpectedly decides to double back...". Clearly, they think he won't double. The preview lists Cherkos as an Ethiopian entry, but the provisional entry list has Abdosh, Bekele, Daba and Merga for Ethiopia. ?????

We will see, I guess.
