The PR for Van Zyl is wrong. He ran 47.94 this year.

This will be one of faves to watch, cuz it seems so open. Unfortunately I don't see a great time, not even mid 47s. I'm looking for KC to miraculously hit a (any) stride pattern and win in 47.70ish. BJ and Phillips will be there at the 8th hurdle too, but one of them will inch out the other at the finish.

Kerron usually always shows up to big meets with the exception of the 2005 WC were he totally tanked it in the finals. I expect him to medal atleast. I think Bershawn will win it all though.

Not sure what to make of Angelo this year, he hasn't looked bad, but he sure doesnt look good.

It was kind of cold and wet in 05. I remember that I thought it was stunning that anyone could run 47.low (or 47.something for that matter for 2nd place!) in those conditions.

Bat won't win it...not this year...he won't even medal IMO. Call it a hunch. More than willing (and actually happy) to eat crow if I'm wrong...which I hope I am.

Thinking he won't medal, is out there. Unless he gets hurt, I don't see a possible scenerio were he doesn't medal.

I think he will run sub 47.7

What to make of Taylor this year?

Very open race IMHO. Would love to see big PR's from Culson, Phillips, Mc Farlane and Van Zyl. A lot of guys have shown very good shape. I fully expect a big dip from 48.0 to 47'3/4 from at least ONE of the guys.

Demus went from high 53 to low 52 in one race, when it click in the hurdles, it clicks. Someone will put it together in Berlin, I'm sure of it.

Geeez, they stuck Phillips out there in Lane 8. Shouldn't the better runners get the choice lanes?

Decent time. It looked like he ran that first 300 harder than he wanted to since he couldn't see anyone. But that last 100 looked easy.

I agree... he had no choice though, thats how u run from lane 8 in races like these... the worse thing that can happen isyou being on the backstretch in lane 8 and seeing someone in lane 4/5/6 pulling level with u... lol
