After yesterday, I'm thinking that the 09:00 start they have planned for Friday (when the temps are supposed to be close to 80 at peak) should be pulled back an hour, maybe two.

The weather has been kind today, rain before the competition, but stopped almost as the race got underway.

The best sort of 50 there is. The smartest guys, and not necessarily the strongest, won. One of the best strategical displays I've ever seen by Kirdyapkin - just a pity he didn't really need it to win...

Clean sweep for russia, three gold's in the racewalk and likely will be
              the only ones.

Sucks for them no w50 km.

Personal Bests for 7 of the first 11, nice 5th place finish for André Höhne.

Great result for Norway and Jesus Angel. Good try by the Aussies. Hopefully this spurs Nathan Deakes' comeback.

and this is the reason why they are so good:

might want to start looking into the rumors of SARMS usage too. no test for that yet.
