The Chart here was absoultely out of prediction as numbers 4 - 10 are all out!

The favorites of 2nd group had awful performances, especially Villjoen also Piwnicka Palameika and Mickle and thus.... Savva Lika, the evergreen and always cheerful during the competition made it to the final!!!!

    Go Rachel!

Yurkovich! Wow! Out of 31 starters, she had the 28th best seasonal mark, yet she managed two of her top three throws this year in qualifying to make the final. It would take a miracle for her to make the podium, but so far this is the best underdog story of the meet for the US squad. She's the first American to make a World's final since 1983 (Karin Smith).

It looks like the second group had much less favorable wind conditions. The distances were well down on the first group.

I think it's a slip-up on the headline. That may be the headline from '08 OG.

    Spotakova is the favorite.

Wait, I'm confused. The formchart says Spotakova over Obergfoll, but the headline on the PDF preview y'all sent out today says "Obergfoll On Top at Last," and "The Scoop" doesn't mention Spotakova at all. Which is it?
