I've been doubting Debbie some...not because of her ability but just because of the # of rounds she'll be running....

...well IAAF lessened them by 1...

The new schedule shows the women's 200 only having 3 rounds instead of 4...one round per day (Aug. 19th, 20th and 21st).

Could benefit all...including Debbie...to be fresher for the final...although it could mean each of the preceeding rounds will be a tad faster....

I belive Veronica will use the 100 to get sharp for the 200. Not that she won't be trying to win the 100. (She can win the 100, just needs to have a rare good start). I think she is seriously trying for the sprint double.
Felix looks in awesome form, but I would not say unbeatable form, (close to it though). To lower her colours Veronica may have to PR, maybe even NR. I think by the finals both women will be in shape to go sub 21.80. This should be a cracker and I won't be surprised if either wins. DFM 3rd if she runs conservative rounds and gets lane 7 for the final.

Well, that should not be a problem. Tell her to run conservative and then contact the organizers and tell them she wants lane 7. It shouldn't be a problem. :roll:

It will be nice to see where Annie and Simone is able to place. These two girls were the one who trumped SAF all throughout high school. My oh my how the table has turned.... Am glad to see them coming back into the fray of things though. Simone was always there and Annie finally finding back good form, I am expecting a huge pb from Annie and I suspect she will make the final.

I think the name is very fitting. I seriously think that she can be the top sprinter out there if she just gets her race together. She seems built for sprinting. When she gets it right and really gets rolling, she is in there with the best of them. To me she is the second best all around 100/200 m sprinter US have, behind Lee. Felix I see as a 200/400 type.
