    dadme - where on the BBC are you finding these reports - I can find neither of those you've put up so far. Have you a link, please??

      Well i listen to BBC radio5 , its available on the web. Its a mixture of current affairs, showbiz, media and sports.The sports reports are half hourly & its background ga-ga in my office.

          Major decisions:

          No False Start

          The following proposal was approved:

          “Except in Combined Events, any athlete responsible for a False Start shall be disqualified.”

          “In Combined Events only one false start per race shall be allowed without disqualification of the athlete(s) responsible for the false start. Any athlete(s) making further false starts in the race shall be disqualified from the race.”

          Vote:

          Yes - 97
          No - 55 This is from the IAAF website.
