Dwight and Baseball (no, not Gooden)

As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of baseball being part
of the 1984 Olympics, Dwight Stones got to throw out the first pitch at the Dodgers
game last Friday night. Of course, being the competitor he is, he threw a
perfect strike (after practicing with his son the day before).

As I recall after he won the schlock-jock "Superstars" competition on TV, his explanation was, "Of course I won. I'm the only one who actually practiced the events!"

Until he lost in the finals (after knocking down the high bar in the obstacle course) and figured it was because his biorhythms were down.
