I've heard a couple of you suggest that this is a slow track. I think it's just fine. The times have been rather impressive to this point and you'll probably see 3 guys go under 9.90 in the semis.

The first two quarters of the women's 100 had winds of -0.3 and +0.8. Third quarter was +0.1.

Last night's men's quarter final winds ranged from -0.7 to +0.4.

Maybe we'll get an idea of where Asafa's head's at from his semi - not an easy ask, granted... If he starts like the previous rounds, will he bother going all out, or will he shut down when Gay appears in the corner of his eye? In fact, can he go all out??::

Interesting to see Gay avoided eye contact with Bolt when they slapped hands - my nieces prefer the t-shirt-over-the-head-I-can't-see-you-therefore-you-can't-see-me tactic too.
