Yeah! Because your tedious little argument is much more interesting than the athletics meet which is going on. I find what you've done to this thread riveting I really do. Narcissists.
Please, don't even try it, you been in your fair share of arguments on this board
Man, I didn't mean ridiculous in a negative way. I meant ridiculous as in "Bolt running 9.69 is ridiculous".
Ridiculous, as in, I can't believe Gay can do so little for the past month, have such a functionally messed up groin, have terrible starts, and STILL run 9.93 not even all the way through the line.
That, to me, is RIDICULOUS. And, to me, it means he was on his way to being able to run with Bolt if he was healthy.
I don't see how he can run with Bolt right now because his start is rusty and his groin might be at a dangerous point right now.

I think if you knock a tenth off everybody's time in the semi final then you have an idea of what they would have run in an equivalent race in Beijing or with a nice following wind here.
Final will be fast but there are other places they would run faster. I'm saying that looking at the people who didn't qualify as much as the people who were easing up.
That's why he won his semi's, did you see the race
Did you? Take the blinders off. Gay would not have caught Powell had he not slowed down.
Again, we'll see come finals right, you say Asafa slowed, I don't agree, that simple. Asafa was decelerating of course, just watched it from the side view, Asafa had a couple of strides on Tyson, and Tyson's top end speed got the best of Asafa....again.
Speedfirst I know sometimes you can be irrational, but I know you're not blind. Asafa took his foot off the gas at about the 85 meter mark (his body must be so tuned into that 85 meter mark) and Gay ran hard until the last 5 meters. If Powell kept it going, he holds Gay off.
The problem here is that Powell regularly eases up at 85 meters. Can he actually keep it together for the full 100m?
I still think 9.65 is in the cards from Bolt. If he gets off to another good start, that record is toast.....
Why do you take what I'm saying as being critical of him?
What are you TALKING about?
I wouldn't have neccisarily told him to sit out. Its tough to say. if anything, once his groin went bad there was no plesant way of dealing with the situation.
I'm applauding him for trying to do it anyway. I'm applauding him for completely avoiding all excuses when I feel everyone should understand how much of a handicap he's dealing with right now.
And I'm angry and taking it personal because I hate that Jamican or pro Bolt/Powell people might have an opportunity to say that they just flat out beat Gay when there is more of a story to it then that.
thats my point man. how am I "criticizing" him? I don't understand why you have a problem with me being sympathitic with his situation.
Gay was AT WORST the second best sprinter this year. And if he still silvers this time around, I wish people could give him the due he deserves based on how he's still battling through his injury.
Whatever man. If you dont' like that I'm a fan of him, your opinion about me is as important to me as my opinion about Gay is important to him himself.
Homie you playing semantics, real simple, again you're the one slinging arrows, not me. What opinion did I conclude of you? That you're being critical of Tyson, you are, you can justify to yourself why you are, all you want.
Others can see how personal you taking this, but knock yourself out.
