    Great Run Sanya!!!!!!!!

Looked really conservative between 150 to 250, I thought she would let them get away from her a little, but at about 150 to go she turned it on and flew by them. Great Run!

Dare I say she had some left in the tank??
I dont think she had alot left, look at how Williams began to gain some ground in the last 50. But I thought Sanya would dip under 49.

never the less, well deserved gold for her, great job.

        Sounds fake to me.
C'mon - if he'd said nothing, you'd be slating too. At least he had the graciousness to say it - some American posters have completely ignored the 100m results

A great win in a great time

          Redemption for Sanya Richards today

Still sounds phony to me, doesn't mean it is. But believe me, he's know's what the deal is.

Did you see her face the last 30-50 meters? Not much strain at all. She was controlled the whole way. She has more to give.
You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!

Do you know, I really really really wanted Sanya to do well. I'm obviously an "O" fan, but I love Sanya...but watching this race made me realise that the last couple of weeks and the loons on here wittering on about her have actually put me RIGHT off her and I was willing Shericka over the line in the end...

Still, congratulations- the best woman won!

I have had some disagreements with T&F_LA -- I am not even going to begin questioning his sincerity (but I do not always like his delivery but is more than fine here).

Also note that "O" did get a SB; she just was not in the race.

Agree. However, a race close to perfection.

Creepy. I too was thinking about TrackDaddy. I wondered what he was doing. I hope he's not on-duty today, but could soak this in.
