It's deja vu all over again. As you may know, ESPN2 stayed with a meaningless (to track fans) basketball game through the first 20-minutes of the scheduled live coverage of the adidas Boston Indoor Games last month. Be warned that a similar situation may occur today that could affect the showing of the Indoor Nationals from 6:30-7:30pm(Eastern).
ABC is televising a golf tournament today, and, if it goes long, they will shift the coverage to ESPN2 (I believe at 6pm Eastern). ESPN2 will stay with the golf tournament until its conclusion, then pick up the Nationals show in progress.
That's the bad news. The good news is that if part of the show is pre-empted, it will be re-aired in its entirety at 1am(Eastern).
