Seriously though, has anyone read the article on T&F home page? Is Bolt really considering the LJ?

I would sincerly love it if he tried that.

Why not, anyhow? Maybe stick to the short sprints a couple more years, earn the beau-coup $$, set the marks a litte further out of reach and then go for glory in the LJ and EARN the title of GOAT.

(To me he has to add one more discpline at a Medalist level to get GOAT title from King Carl)

Lets get real here. Bolt has and never will have any interest or reason to fool around with the LJ. Now the 400 is a different matter. If and when he gives it a go ( and imho he definitely will ) and then cracks the WR, ( which again imho he will accomplish) that's it . Ball game over. Numero uno. Maybe next year. Why wait ? Track careers for sprinters are short-lived. Strike while the iron is still hot.

LJ or 400, I would love to see him branch out. His 400 PR isn't exactly chicken scratch, so I'd love to see a full 12-18 months of effort in that area.
