How many races have Tegenkamp and Solinsky run this year? It seems like very few.

I'm interested in seeing how fast these folks can go, but Bek's legs have to be rather sore by now, no?

I've heard Solinsky is doing Gateshead and Brussels, and Teg just the latter.

I think the simple answer is that Bekele doesn't care what the pace is, as long as it results in him staying alive for the jackpot. I'd bet he wants it quick enough to shed much of the field, but not so fast (i.e. WR attempt) that he risks blowing up.

          Go Ritz!!!

Yeah, hope Ritz's recovery from his Berlin 10,000m is sufficient for him to get a PR...maybe something around 13:10-12.

The odds of Bekele breaking his own WR are zero. As with Geb the Ethiopians don't go after their own WRs.

And with no one else on the horizon close... the winning time will be around 12:50.

I really would like to see if Bekele could break 10 flat for 10 laps... But that will never happen.

Bekele is up to something tonight. Opened with two 60 laps,,,, (and now a f'***ing commercial on my TV!)

Edit: Looks like they have cooled of a bit now. Still en route for WL.
