this might be the stupidest research ever been taken seriously. Im sure they might even find out that in near future the wr holder in hammer or polevault come from kenya or ethopia because of their more rapid improvements than europe or the us.

    greetings.
Those econometrics should not throw their textbooks out of the window.

But every time they seem to get carried away, forget, like some posters , that statistics rely on marks with interchangable properties.

The suggestion of the clock and the measuring-tape that equal numbers are of the same magnitude, doesn't always fit the reality.

That's why was the Super Man Position based Cycling World Hour record of Chris Boardman (56,375km) statistically an anomaly.

Semenya from a standpoint of sexual revolution and if Thailand and the Phillipines were to go down the route of agressively sending girls to do the 800m. we could then observe the snowball effects that battygroups would prompt.

Men had 9 years of WR progression, since the last time a women's 100m WR was broken. The 100m is therefore the most succesful event.

It doesn't have to be long, but I want it to have a complete story, not just updates or tidbits. I would prefer to do something about the new false start rule or something that is PED related. Something that I would have to answer questions on and possibly debate. If you know of anything that would help please link it for me!
If anything is controversial and also touches quite a few people outside the athletics incrowd it's the still under (IAAF) embargo Caster Semenya case.

It's however quite tangled up and by no means easy to grasp.

But I suggest : visit the sports science website www.sportsscientists.com, which is done by two genuine south african (!!) scientists. If you didn't know better, you would think this is a semenya website. It's up to you.
