What you just offered is your speculation, everyone doesn't have a decline after a major meet. Foster-Hylton ran the fastest time of the year after worlds, now is that ignorance?
I'm fairly confident I've never been called a "tough guy" before.

However, putting that aside, if you need me to spell it out, the ignorance I referred to was your apparent complete lack of understanding of the psychological element of athletic performance. It's pretty basic stuff and I'm sorry it's beyond your comprehension.

I'm not some wet behind the ears, young whipper snapper, speaking off the top of my head. I understand what is required of athletes competing at this level and what it takes to perform at a meet of the magnitude of worlds.

I am not discussing the Bolts, Gay's of the world, y'all are entilted to speculate on what you feel is the reason for the decline, just like I am. By the way, has anyone noticed I didn't speculate, but simply asked what she hurt or something? Again everyone doesn't have a decline, Foster-Hylton one example.

P.S. mumpboy, do you think you control what anyone has to say? Maybe, just maybe you feel what you have to state is more important.

  If walker want to run 1:00 in the 400mH no problem,as long as she keeps peaking for the big ones.

The only staggering thing is your ignorance regarding the psychology of peak performance and the downside following such an outstanding result. There is nothing at all to speculate about.
Bolt 9.58- 9.81 and Gay 9.71-10.15 and Spearmon 19.8-20.8 ect ect

Smoke, all due respect, what you offered is no different than anyone else with resect to it being speculation.

Sure times drop, but there are reasons why and this in part why we're discussing this.

She probably let the other woman win, that woman being one Miss Kaliese Spencer who is her training partner and also dropped a phenomenal time in Berlin.

And I do not expect her to venture near 52.42 anytime soon.

Given her pre Berlin form I am not surprised by her race, it fits. She got right for the gold and that is all one can ask for in this game.

Plus, conditions factor in so much in that race it can be mindboggling at times. You really have to see the race and focus more on the competition rather than the times. i.e. I could careless what the time was in NY this year, I liked how the race went and who was in it.

Just food for thought fellas as you scratch your heads on this
I'll stop after this remark. Edwin must have done something guite right.

Clyde Hart doesn't believe in peaking. So thats a matter of opinion.

I didn't see the race - did she hit a hurdle? were her steps off? A lot of things can go wrong in a hurdle race.

Maybe hurt, maybe tired. The 52.64 took considerable effort, and the two meets did have slightly different incentives.
