  • Yelena Isinbayeva Prince of Asturias Award

Yelena Isinbayeva was announced the winner of the 2009 Prince of Asturias Prize for Sports on September 2, 2009. The prize includes a cash award of 50,000 euros. How should she spend it? Since it is a prestigious prize I would advise her to donate it to charity, such as services for poor children in Volgograd, Russia, her home town. I thought she should give it to charity
since some Nobel Prize winners give their prize money to charity.

For more information on the Prince of Asturias Prizes go to http://www.fundacionprincipedeasturias.org/en/awards/. There are more awards than just sports. There are awards for arts and social sciences to name two.

I dunno, I don't think she has the curves/bodyfat% to pull off that dress.

Hate those dresses; the same pseudo-naked fleshtoned stuff they do with the figure skaters. Either show the skin or make it a color. This is amateur porn.

Hey GH, any idea where my topic about Fredericks Marsh and Gay went or if it was seen as offensive (couldn't see why it would)?

WOW! always amazes me how an athlete can go from 7% body fat to 17% body fat so quickly. not a good selection of dress, she looks heavy. must be that great russian supplementation taking it off or the russian vodka putting it on.

            how does she do it?

              Historical, where it belongs.

So agree!! It's disorienting and looks weird.

No GH, you're not being nice to me. The focus of the topic was about Gay and his potentially underated accomplishments. Judging from some of the stuff that I see on the main page I think it could have stayed. eg the one you currently actively partaking in.

Plus, we've seen many a healthy discussions on the Current Issues Board about guys that did things in the past or things that were done in the past as the central point. What's the deal? :?

Hmmm??? I dunno either. Ya know, a feller, or in your case a gal, can cull em too close. She looks fine to me.
