It's the first time this year I had a good look at Trecia Smith this year, and she's waaaay overweight compared to her prime. No wonder she's no longer winning medals, I'm surprised she can even do 14.20+

I got the same impression, she looks out of shape.

I'm sure Eldy could do some calculations of what she's capable of if she lost a few pounds. One of my all-time fave eldrick calculations was Helen Karagounis' potential if she lost some weight. IIRC he calculated that if Karagounis lost 8lb from her behind, she could break 49 seconds in the 400m. She did lose a bit of weight later on in her career, but funnily enough her PB remained 51.78.

I would think "manage her fitness better", "become fitter" or something along those lines could make the point without being too insensitive.

              Where's Savigne?

When have you ever heard me say anything disparaging about an athlete?

Now I might have tuned you up a few times but you know its all in fun.

My objective here is two fold:

First, to impart some knowledge on those who've been deprived. I just might have some to share.

And two, to tweak y'all's modus operandi until you're cultured, well mannered and rational like me.
