Rumors have her transferring to Cal. Haven't seen anything definite.

The rate of redshirting with Stanford distance runners (m/w) is pretty high, if the transfer rumors aren't true.

Note that as of a few weeks ago the Stanford student rag had Chetelat leading the XC team this year: http://www.stanforddaily.com/cgi-bin/?p=1032736

But I note that the online Stanford XC and T&F rosters do not have Chetelat listed, and they do list redshirts.

From a friend who knows about these things:

<<She is slated to transfer to Cal for winter term assuming the conference faculty reps approve the move and her subsequent eligibility at Cal. If approved she will have to wait a year for eligibility. She gave up her Stanford athletic scholarship. She couldn't run anyway because she is recovering from a stress fracture after having a similar stress fracture last year.>>

Have also heard that her boyfriend goes to Cal.

Her and Michael Coe would make a great looking couple!

Seriously I wish her well. A pretty cool young lady and I still watch that titanic battle with Hasay two Cal state meets ago.
She tried to take Jordan twice on that last lap. That girl ain't scared of anything!
