Future of Nigerian sprinting

This is a subject I am very much interested in after reading of Lee Evans's recent move to Nigeria. We have been saying for years that the nation has so much potential, but things don't seem to be moving in the right direction. I was wondering if anyone more informed would have any comment on the current situation in Nigeria and Evans's move.

It does seem to me that one factor that Nigeria seems to lack is proper coaching in the sprints for athletes in their formative years....

Footballers they produce in droves, but they need similar technical guidance in athletics.
