        Barringer waltzes to Pre-Nats win...

        Some feel Villanova might have a shot if Washington falters...Oregon seems a little down now, but look for them to be ready at Nats.

          Why are people from Washington more prone to injury? That makes no sense. Is Oregon less likely to get hurt? Washington has no one injured at the present and, barring major injury which ALL teams must contend with, NOBODY has a shot at beating Washington. Their numbers 2 and 4 did not even run in the Pre-Nats.

            Who said anything about injuries? I agree with you that Washington should be very tough to beat, if their team is all there and healthy, and peaking appropriately.

              Without addressing the specific schools here either way, there are certainly schools where distance runners come up injury prone because of (over) training regimen.
