    He is peaking for the IAAF World XC in March.

      It's about time he backed off; he ran nonstop from high school through USATF this year, with a couple of notable injuries along the way.

        He wins ncaa 1500 as a freshman, then sets American Junior record 5k at USATF, in his last two races of the year, so it appears his training and racing was very well planned.

          Dave Smith sez nothing wrong with Fernandez. He also says Colby Lowe will ultimately prevail in the 5000 and 10000.
