I love the website contests. How about one for NCAA indoors? Maybe one that incorporates the team scoring aspect? My simple suggestion: Let everyone pick a team of 10-20 athletes and score them according to the NCAA 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.

Several leagues already exist in the e-mail universe. I'm in one myself. But perhaps you mean leagues based through a website, like ESPN has? That would certainly be more convenient than relying on word-of-mouth (word-of-e-mail?) to find each other."Run fast and keep turning left."

Actually, now that I think about it, a web-based one already exists here: http://run-down.com/fantasy/"Run fast and keep turning left."

tafnut, tafnut, tafnut... if only you knew some of the stuff we come up with :-)
Before the Trials there will be a third contest type in place and possibly a fourth. It isn't a matter of complexity it is a matter of time and priority.
P.S. The contest was mentioned in the eTrack issue sent earlier today.

Ben, Benji, Benjumani . . . if only you knew how much I live for the thrill of these last second contests.
Quite honestly I'm thrilled with any bone you throw, cuz it's pretty much the only game in town (not counting that stupid Eurotrash thing that I came in 20th out of 40, an obvious anti-American bias involved - jkJon).
As I said before these things are crapshoots, but I did almost get an 8 the hard way last time! Thanks for indulging us tafnuts.

LOL! Glad you liked it!
I'm actually looking forward to entering the NCAA contest.... representing the Europeans an' all that!! For some reason I completely forgot to enter the T&FN prediction contest for the WICh (although I probably wouldn't have won).

Re: How about an NCAA Indoors contest?
Garry, you wrote a column a little over a year ago on ways for fans to increase their enjoyment of the sport, including joining fantasy leagues. I have to say, these contests have really done it. I get riveted to the TV or Internet when I'm tracking a contest; I was so thrilled last year when I kept seeing my picks come in during the WCs (I think I finished top 5 in that one) and so crushed this year as my WIC picks started falling like dominoes (literally, in the case of Kelly Holmes). I congratulate y'all on finding a way to really bring the sport to life for us."Run fast and keep turning left."

Re: How about an NCAA Indoors contest?
I second that! I was glued to the BBC broadcast last weekend. By the way, the BBC announcers did a great job and I actually learned a thing or two from their discussion between events...unlike tv coverage (of commercials) here in the US. Just checked the FoxSprotsNet-Detroit schedule--no T&F coverage this weekend...but I see they've made time for the national dance and cheer competition and something called bikini bananza. Nothing against skin but...well you know... Oops, I'm sorry...that complaint is for a different thread.
Anyway, THANK YOU T&FN FOR THESE CONTESTS. THEY'RE AWESOME!
