    2.38 Patrik Sjöberg SWE

    2.37 Steve Smith GBR
    2.37 Javier Sotomayor CUB

    2.37 Ivan Ukhov RUS

Kynard turned 20 years old on Feb. 3. Note that when you get past 2.35 at this age, 3 of the 7 eventually became either world record holders or WC/OG champs.
By my count, it's actually 4 out of 7.

2.31m today for Kynard. Olympic A standard an 4 cm better than last year at the same meet.

According to pela's site, it ties for 4th-best ever in December, behind Sotomayor (2.34), Zhu Jianhua (2.33) & Marino Drake (2.32).

Kynard jumped 2.31. That does meet the Oly A standard.

I stand corrected. The results I looked at showed xxx at 2.31. Article on KSU website says he made 7-7.

He definitely has the potential to challenge Conway's 2.37m while in college. Still has one more year after this one.
