Satch, my man, your wit, smarts and charm are like a breath of fresh air compared to those aging jocksniffers. The trivia questions are brilliant, comments cogent and well composed, and track knowledge truly awesome! Do not let others less talented hurt you. Finally the Batman interview and recent obituary were classics.Keep up your campaign against banality and fat ass disease.

Personally, if I'm going to retire, I'd rather do it breaking the hearts of others, not my own. Chance are probably slim, but one can always dream.

Satch isn't any closer to the sky than you or I. If you doubt that, check the Baltimore Sun website. Click on obituaries. Type in Satchman. Nothing there there.

What's sad is whatever it is that would impel Satch (or anyone else) to post a thing like that.

Very odd! First satch retires, then makes a comeback after 2 hours, now is pretending to be dead...

Satch, if you read this board from the sky:
    We are all little Satchmen.
Love and everlasting respect for you from France.
