Apparently, we all missed this one last year. Current UCLA freshman Damien Thigpen ran a 34.54 in the 300h, and this is not an Onion thing.

Indeed, maybe you missed the sarcasm in my tone.
Obviously, CA public institutions are dealing with some financial issues at the moment and I'm guessing the stat person is someone they co-opted to do all the bios for all sports, rather than a real track person -- who would've never made that mistake, especially considering all the hoopla surrounding Reggie Wyatt's amazing record just 7 months ago.
