It was a car accident. Lelei died on the spot. With him in the car was former half marathon world record holder Moses Tanui who suffered serious injuries. Tanui was brought to a hospital and appears to be out of danger: http://www.nation.co.ke/sports/athletic ... rcwg0ez/-/
