    Head to head in 2010

Which rivalry or head to head competition are you most looking forward to watching this season?

Bolt and Gay in the 100? 200?

Richards and Felix in the 400? Dare we say 200?

Blanka and Friedrich in the HJ?

Wariner and Merritt in the 400?

Liu and Robles in the 110H?

    Others, perhaps? Discuss.

Friedrich v Vlasic should be a cracker in Barcelona.

          Felix v VCB

          Jamal v Burka v Alminova v Rowbury v Dobriskey v Willard

          Dibaba v Masai v Melkamu v Defar (5k & 10k)

Add Sherika vs Krivashopka vs WIlliams-Mills vs Sanya vs Felix

I want to see what event Keliese is going to run this year, if it's the 400 or the 400mH and if Melanie is going to contest the shorter hurdles.

Vili v. Ostapchuk. It's been a good one for a year or two and with the DL we'll get more of it.

Now, that's an awesome competition. I just find the current multi men to be just mediocre athletes. Ennis may end of being a world class hurdler? And of course we know that Tia is a world class high jumper. Some really good athletes have broken away from multi events. Perhaps, Ashton will be the exciting one in the near future?

Would love to see 4x1 matchups between JA & the US men/women. Hopefully, all key runners would participate.

I would love to see Merritt vs Wariner with both of them in sub 44 (dare I wish for sub 43.8) shape.

                          1. bolt in peak season vs wariner vs merritt.
                          2.jeter vs laverne-jones vs fraser.
                          3. lel vs wanjiru vs kebede vs tadesse vs kirui (london marathon april 25th)
4.m. keitany vs masai vs t. dibaba vs defar vs abeylegesse vs v. cheruiyiot vs l. kiplagat vs radcliffe (if she can get back to top form)in a half marathon.
                          5. b. lagat vs rupp vs ritz vs teg in a international 10k hengelo or brussells, all 4 americans could get pulled to 27:10 which would make USA the 3rd best country all time on the tilastopaja top 100 list going ahead of morrocco.

i dont think we will see #1
                          we will probably see #2
we will see #3 on april 25th
#4we might see 2-3 in a race but i really doubt all 8
brussells on august 27th is perfect if they have a 10k, the last diamond league meet, hopefully all will be peaked and happy with 5k times and excited to run a really fast 10k. i dont know if bernard lagat has any interest in a 10k, but he could run under 27 minutes remember he got 2nd to k. bekele at the world 5k last year.

Jones! please..... those extra 40 meters brings out another animal. not the Jones type. She will not match up with Fraser and Jeter for 100 meter dash. But, Kerron Stewart does

But Jessica Ennis, however interesting she may be, is only one person and doesn't qualify as a "head to head" matchup, which is what this thread is about :?
