Mottram has just returned from Sweden, where he saw a specialist about his continuing achilles problems. Athletics Australia head coach Eric Hollingsworth yesterday said Mottram's injury was improving.

"He's come back and is very happy with the advice he got," Hollingsworth said.

"He's progressing nicely and looking forward to getting back soon.

Although I thought he hated being called 'Buster'?

Men's Racing: Is there anyone who doesn’t call you Buster?
Craig Mottram: The only one who calls me Craig is my mom when she’s mad at me.
